Image of the Week…
This was taken when my sister-in-law and her family visited us over he Winter. It was unseasonably warm (do I miss that now, that it is unseasonable cold!) and my neice and my daughter were playing dress up in clothes I had made. You really can not see much of the outfit, but I just adore this shot of my neice, it really captures her sweet shyness.
Image of the Week…
While I was taking cast shots for Pennsylvania’s Youth Theater, for their upcoming performances of A Year with Frog and Toad (which by the way if you live in the Lehigh Valley, PA…get some tickets and take your family, it is an excellent kids show and a fantastic production of it) and I got some quick shots with my tag a long friend. Normally color is my favorite but I really loved how I processed the black and white. I am posting both versions but this tiome I will use the BW for the actual Image of the week
Snowy Sidekick…
Well on my previous post’s adventure into the snow…of course Viola joined me. She can look so majestic, and at the same time be a complete GOOF! She is like the dog version of myself…loving, protective, sometimes overly anxious, loyal and well meaning, even though she still gets herself into trouble. She is even clumsy like I can be (we both walk into posts and trees)…well atleast she came blame it on the fact her eyes are covered. I do not have that excuse
So anyways, she is always a joy for me to photograph.
Cute little crab apples…
A few years ago I planted these cute little crab apple trees outside my living room window. In all honesty, they are still pretty baby looking, but still fantastic. They are more like berries than apple size, many times I call them apple berries, or sometimes crnaberries, on accident. I think I see them visual when I talk about them, and then the idea of crab apples doesn’t fit..and out comes whatever my brain scrambles together. These trees have something interesting all year round, and the Winter is my favorite, this little bare tree with these deep red berries…just beautiful. During the snowfall this past weekend I finally went out to capture them
{Smiles} I Heart Faces Photo Challenge for the Week
This weeks challenge is Smiles. This is one of my all time favorite images I have taken. It even has 2 smiles. I told the daddy to be to pain the baby’s face on the mommy to be’s tummy. It was so much fun. This shot s my favorite, I love how the daddy to be is grinning away in the background, with paint brush in hand.

Image of the Week…{Lehigh Valley, PA Newborn & Family Photographer}
Okay so I haven’t done image of the week in months! Well it is a New year and I have many photos to pull from for this segment of my blog. So to start it off, I am going to choose an image I took very recently, for myself. I was playing outside in the snow with my camera (more on that later) with Viola, at my side. Here is one of my favorites from her ‘posing’ for me.
