Bunnies and Chicks, Oh my!
This April I got some little chicks, borrowed some bunnies and offered to a few clients to use them in the photos. Taking photos of toddlers can be a challenge, so leave it to me, to invite a bigger challenge and invite some baby animals to the party 
This is Mr T and he just turned 1 years old. He was not a huge fan of his cake (which was gorgeously made by Tracey). He was more interested in doing what toddlers like best…doing what they want to do, the opposite of what you want them to do . However, he is a little lady’s man and he flirted with one of my daughters and we got some great smiles from him! It is always fun to see Mr T
The Sweetest, Littlest thing…
As promised, more from this session! This very sweet baby girl is my littlest client to date. Not even 5 lbs. She seems so amazingly content and in love with her parents (as they are with her!). She just loves her mommy’s voice and smiled hearing her mom speak to her. The bottom image of her and her mom smiling at each other, is one of my favorite images captured. Way too precious!!!
As I posted below I had one of the cutest babies model a dress I made for my Mamapatrice line. In just a few weeks, Mamapatrice is going to be available at Milk and Honey Kids in Bethlehem/Allentown stores. There will be a big event debute of my clothing! There will be one of a kinds and limited editions available for purchase…so you will have to make sure to be at the event to get your favorite before it is gone! I will post the specific info soon!
This really did start as a mini session…
One of my friend/clients came to me for a mini session for this super cutie. Well I got so many great shots from her, it was hard to narrown down. Then I also asked her to come back and do some modeling for me for my Mamapatrice clothing line and a cute little bunny hat and bottom set I had just bought as part of my prop stash 
. This baby is too cute and serious model material I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Sneak Peak…
Here is just a teeny tiny sneak peak of a recent session. More to come later but for now I just had to post something about this little cutie. She just loved to smile, especially when she heard her mom’s voice. Here is a little smirk I caught…too precious!

Image of the Week…
Check out this little doll! There will be more from her mini session later, but for now I wanted to share this as my image of the week. Miss C is one of my favorites to photograph. If you check my website on my main home page it is one of the photos featured in the flash gallery when you go to my site, it is the precious newborn with the kissy lips!
I got this adorable hydrangea hat from Milk and Honey Kids Boutique. My photos are featured on their site and their stores as well, if you have a chance to take a peak, this is s must see store. So many adorable items, like this little hat.
Before and After…
I wanted to ‘bare all’ and show you a taste that goes into my images. Taking the photo is just a sliver of what makes my images mine. I spend a good deal of time, in processing, to make them what you see on my blog, website, and Facebook Fanpage. I work hard to get photos right in camera first and I shoot in complete manual on my Canon 5D MarkII. I have a variety of lenses I use, each has their place. This one was shot with a 100 2.8 macro. I shoot in RAW and process my images in ACR and them Abobe CS4. So here is an image straight out of ACR, only tweaked the image lightly and then the final image after processing in CS4. When I am hired as a photographer, I am not just shooting photos, I am creating works of art
I have to laugh at this image…one of my daughters has her own unique flair for fashion. Sometimes she looks ahead of her time, other times a bit of a hot mess…I guess at least she is a risk taker. I wonder what she will think of this 20 years later. I guess we will see
Gertrude and the Girls…
This past weekend we packed the family in the car and drove a few states away to visit family. This weekend I had a session with my mom’s chickens. Yes I said chickens. It was interesting experience, because they can move their heads faster than you can see them move, then they look around…but I got the hang of it. I put everything into a large story board (it is 24×30″) and my mom will frame it and put in her kitchen. I just may use a few chicken (or cicken as one of my daughters spelled it when they decorated a cardboard box for a playhouse for the chickens) as some fun and interesting photographs to hang in my kitchen.
Image of the Week…
This was taken when my sister-in-law and her family visited us over he Winter. It was unseasonably warm (do I miss that now, that it is unseasonable cold!) and my neice and my daughter were playing dress up in clothes I had made. You really can not see much of the outfit, but I just adore this shot of my neice, it really captures her sweet shyness.
